What is one thing you wish were easier?

Think about last week, at home or at work. Choose one task that took more effort than you wanted.

A helpful detail to include

A little context helps: what do you do, and what result are you responsible for?

A clearer picture of your weekCalendar scan · real examples · a useful first experiment

Start with a week you remember. Add a calendar if you want, then connect what you see to one or two real moments. No installation or account connection is required.

Seven days · use the same dates in your examples
Scan a calendar fileOptional · counts only · runs in this page

Choose one calendar export (.ics). This page reads it locally and keeps only the selected week’s counts after you review them. Event titles, guests, locations, and notes are not saved or sent.

Use a calendar you are allowed to share for this purpose. This does not connect your account or read email.

How to get a calendar file

Google Calendar on a computer: Settings → Import & export → Export. Unzip the download and choose one .ics file. Google’s instructions

Apple Calendar on Mac: Select a calendar in the sidebar, then File → Export → Export. Choose the resulting .ics file here. Apple’s instructions

If exporting is unavailable, review your calendar yourself and describe what stood out below.

Use Screen Time as a clueOptional · review your own device, then note what matters

On a Mac, open System Settings → Screen Time → App & Website Activity. Choose the matching week and check which device or devices are included. Apple’s guide

If there is no history, skip it. Time in an app does not tell us whether the activity was useful or frustrating.

THE PART THAT MAKES IT USEFUL

What was happening behind the activity?

Pick a moment that felt difficult. Meals, errands, messages, and work tasks all count—even if they never appear on a screen.

Your chosen counts, observations, and examples go into your saved recap. Nothing is submitted automatically. You can remove anything before sharing.

These notes will be included in your recap. You can change or remove them at any time.

Optional Mac helper · limited activity counts

On a personal Mac, it can count selected cooking and Marketplace visits, or recently modified file types in one folder. It does not examine your work email, file contents, or your whole week.

  1. Download and unzip.Read README.txt, then double-click Start.command to open Terminal. If macOS blocks it, use the interview instead.
  2. Choose what to include. The download does not start a scan. Browser coverage is Chrome’s Default profile and Safari’s main history database; unreadable sources are skipped.
  3. Review the local report. If you want its counts in this recap, choose the JSON report below. The file is read in this page and is not uploaded.
Optional · stays in this tab
